The person behind the work

I'm a Project Research Assistant at IIT Kharagpur, where I work on an AI-enabled handicraft ecosystem platform under a Ministry of Textiles funded Centre of Excellence — building the full-stack systems it runs on and researching Document Visual Question Answering (DocVQA) and Vision-Language Models alongside it.

My path here started in mathematics: a B.Sc. in Mathematics from Berhampur University, followed by an M.Sc. in Data Science at NIST University, where I also qualified GATE Data Science & AI 2026. Along the way I've worked across the stack — from fine-tuning vision models and building MLOps pipelines, to shipping full-stack apps with React, Next.js, and Node.js.

Before IIT Kharagpur, I collaborated with Aspire InfoLabs on a real-time meeting analysis pipeline combining speech-to-text, speaker diarization, and LLM-based summarization. I'm most interested in the intersection of trustworthy AI, multimodal learning, and systems that are actually usable in production.
